Stuck in the weeds as a solopreneur?

Smart business strategy for solopreneurs

Get the support you need to strategise, prioritise, and make clear decisions so you can build a solid business structure that enhances your life.

For women and non-binary solopreneurs who are ready to stop second-guessing and create a clear path to sustainable profit and growth

The trickiest thing about running your own business is that you’re totally on your own. Maybe you’re starting to worry that your friends/partner/Uber driver/cat might not have the expertise or objectivity to be your business advisor.

Working IN the business is tricky enough. Add in working ON the business—making sure your strategy is sound and on course—and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

You know you should be doing something different. But you don’t know what that thing is.

But what if someone could help you get a clear view of the next right step?

And what if that someone was a business strategist with 30 years of experience helping executives and founders find their way to successful business outcomes.

It’s lonely at the top

You deserve this

With access to a neutral, independent, experienced strategist, you’ll get the support you need to take control of your business—and ensure your business aligns with your personal goals.

  • Identify what success looks like so you know when to celebrate

  • Create a high-level business strategy that acts as your decision making guide

  • Set priorities to ensure you consistently work ON your business (as well as IN it)

  • Develop a robust decision making process that keeps you aligned to your business goals

  • Stay accountable and on track with monthly or quarterly check-ins

Here’s how it works

Our strategic work is structured in stages—and it’s all about finding creating the perfect strategic model for YOU.

After 30 years, I’ve experienced every kind of business model imaginable. That means I can help you define your goals, eliminate waste, deliver value for your customers, and make a plan for continuous improvement.

  • We will work together to create a high level business strategy.

Your time commitment: 2 x 90 minute sessions

Outcome: I’ll synthesise our sessions into a powerful Strategy on a Page—this will become your decision-making guide.

  • Using the Strategy on a Page, we will map out the priorities for the next year, and create a detailed task list.

Your time commitment: 2 x 45 minute sessions

Outcome: Your task list is prioritised in terms of effort and impact. This framework guides the work you do ‘on’ your business (in addition to the work you do ‘in’ your business!)

  • We meet quarterly to review progress, identify any changes needed to the TO DO list and re-prioritise.

    Your time commitment: 3 hours

Outcome: you’ll stay focused on factors that will help help bring your long term goals to life

  • Choose monthly check-ins to help you stay focused and accountable.

This can be helpful if you struggle to make time to work on your business—or if you’d like a regular sounding board.

I’m Verity Byth

I was a woman in business before Women in Business were really a thing. These days, I’ve moved on from massive, transformational projects for global businesses.

I want to work in a more personal way with my clients. People like you, who want results without all the bells and whistles. Who don’t get the attention and support they deserve because they don’t fit into the blokey one-size-fits-all culture.

I’ve created this service—steeped in queer, neurospicy energy—to help you forge your own path to independence and business success.

‘Working with Verity has transformed my business—and my mindset. Thanks to my Strategy on a Page, I’ve stopped wringing my hands about decision making and goal setting.

Now I have clear business and personal goals—and a strategic powerhouse in my corner to keep me on track.

The most valuable question Verity taught me to ask is: How will I know when this is done? Now I tick tasks off my list with confidence, instead of constantly wondering whether I’ve done enough. I’ve been working with Verity for a year and I never plan to stop.

Hire this woman. Throw your money at her.’
